About Me

I am a PhD-trained computational bioinformatician and data scientist with 10+ years of experience spanning genomics, transcriptomics, epigenetics, and machine learning. My work sits at the intersection of biology and AI — building data-driven tools and reproducible pipelines that translate complex biological data into actionable insights.

I recently completed my PhD at Monash University’s Department of Neuroscience, where my research focused on genomic and transcriptomic strategies for epilepsy, including machine learning-based pharmacogenomics and transcription factor network analysis. I am currently a Bioinformatics Contractor at TruDiagnostic, working on large-scale DNA methylation data analysis to support epigenetic ageing research.

Before moving into bioinformatics, I spent several years at IBM in applied data science and software development roles across Germany — a background that shapes how I approach building robust, production-quality research tools.
